Scouts

A couple of weekends ago I had a chance to go backpacking with the older Scouts in our ward. They are in training to hike Mount Whitney in August, so they have been hiking all of the peaks near us. This particular weekend we chose to tackle Mount San Gorgonio, it is the highest peak in Southern California with an elevation of 11,500 feet.

I have to admit that I am pretty out of shape, so I was a little worried about the hike. I also have to admit that it kicked my butt. It was quite a hike, it ended up being 18 miles round trip, and about 5,500 feet of elevation gain, but it was all worth it. The scenery was spectacular. Before living here, I would have never thought Southern California would have such beautiful mountains.

More Little Tea

Sorry we haven't posted in a while, but we are happy to report Little Tea is getting cuter by the day. Grandma and Grandpa have requested more pictures, so here they are. If you can't tell we are pretty proud of our little slobber queen.

Creative Friends

Teagan has gotten some crafty gifts from our friends and family. Some of her favorites are her elephant and her sushi bibs. This sushi roll is two bibs rolled together with green ribbon. Very clever, thank you Dannii! And thank you Natalie for her pink elephant, its been her good friend from the start.

I Love It When Dad Does My Hair

Our Little Lacrosse Girl

Teagan wants to be just like her uncles and dad. She loved playing with this mini lacrosse stick. She was moving her arm back and forth and it looked like she was cradling the ball. Her dad was very proud. After a few minutes she had enough of lax practice and just started eating the stick.

I Love My Grandparents

We were lucky enough to have both or our parents come in town last month. My parents, Budda and Yaya to Teagan, couldn't stay very long but we tried to get in as much fun as we could while they were here.

Two weeks later we had Lance's parents in town. We were able to do Teagan's baby blessing while they were here. Little Tea did great! No crying or fussing. Trying to be such a good girl for 3 hours of church wore her out.

Teagan loves her walks so we took our guests to our favorite park for a stroll and some oranges.

Lance and I were so grateful to have the grandparents in town to help us out with Teagan. Thank You!

Visitors

We've had lots of company this past month and we want everyone who came out to know how much fun we had with them!
Our first visitor was Lance's sister, Brooke. Thanks for all your help while you were here! We miss you!
